Do onto others as you have done to you, what goes around comes around, is this karma? Wikipedia describes karma as being a philosophical explanation that can vary amongst cultures and beliefs. The general law of karma stats that all active deeds will somehow have an effect on past, present, and future experiences. Forcing one to become responsible for their own life and the consequences that follow whether good or bad.
In Hindu cultures karma can determine one’s destiny by the actions of that person. I strongly believe a person’s thought, emotions, and all around general behavior create an energy or karma that can be negative or positive. The movie clearly shows several examples of this correlation.
Although there is no audio in this short film, we can visualize the emotion of each character. It is amazing how many people and emotions we encounter daily just by simply taking a walk. The young woman with such confidence smiles as she passes and acknowledges the main character. She later finds herself winning money on a lotto scratcher. As a man strolls by with his head down is clearly lost in thought, and rudely bumps into passer bys. It is this negative energy that has caused him to perform violent acts of crime. In the end the main character takes a look in the mirror and is content with what he sees. It all boils down to how we feel and view ourselves and the energy that we choose to exert to others. The karma you give is the karma that is returned to you.
